Make sure your details are up to date
The NGS has recently had enquiries from several funding councils regarding their researchers use of the NGS. Looking through our user accounts it would seem that many people have not completed the sections asking for funding details (i.e which research council funds your research, PhD, postdoc etc) and the name of the PI.

Workshop: uptake of e-Infrastructure services in the arts and humanities
http://www.arts-humanities.net/event/workshop_uptake_e_infrastructure_se...
DRHA.JPGWhat do arts and humanities researchers want from e-Infrastructure services? What services and resources make up the e-Infrastructure for the arts and humanities? How are these services accessed and used by researchers across the disciplines? How are they transforming the research practice, and enabling new forms of scholarship? What are the barriers to using these services in the arts and humanities, and how might these be addressed?
RCUK e-Science report out now
Research Councils UK (RCUK) recently released the report of the Review of e-Infrastructure. The report “Delivering the UK’s e-Infrastructure for research and innovation” concluded that the UK’s e-Infrastructure is well developed and among the best in the world. It also recommends that further work is needed to build on this success to ensure the continued development of the UK’s research base.
