For many research areas, grid is still a new phenomenon so the NGS has collected a number of different resources to introduce you to the research opportunities possible using our resources and to help get you started with the NGS.

In the events section you will find our upcoming events.  These can be events organised by the NGS such as our popular roadshows which are designed to introduce people to the NGS, events that we are attending such as e-research events (e.g. UK All Hands Meeting) or other events related to our work.  We also have an event archive so you can see events that we have organised or attended in the past and access presentations from these events. 

In the resources section we have a wide variety of material designed to help you get informed about the NGS and also to help you keep in touch with our development, updates and activities.

To give you practical help in getting started we also have other resources such as tutorials, presentations etc from the Digital Library resource and training events.
