Hermes Grid Enabled File Browser
Hermes is a mulit-panel desktop application providing drag-n-drop capabilities for uploading/downloading files and directories between your local desktop and different Grid resources. Hermes supports GridFTP, SRB, iRODS, FTP, SFTP and FILE. Data can be copied between these different file systems by using drag and drop.
- Browsing different remote file stores,
- Performing file operations including delete and rename of files/dirs on remote file stores,
- Uploading data from your desktop to a remote file store,
- Downloading data from a remote file store onto your desktop,
- Recursive directory copying between different remote file stores (e.g. between SRB and FTP).
- Hermes can speak SRB, iRODS, GridFTP, FTP, SFTP and FILE.
